Throughout the Bible we see that God has always had a plan and a purpose for His people. Everything that God does is with purpose and reason, His ways are not random or erratic, and He does not do things by chance but rather by a divine plan. From the very beginning of creation all the way through to this very moment and continuing until the very end of time, God has had a unique plan and purpose for our lives. He is a God of destiny.
The more we grow in relationship with our heavenly Father, and the more He reveals Himself and His secrets to us, we begin to see that the plans He has for our lives are far greater and more amazing than we could ever dream for ourselves.
I am often reminded of the scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10, ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him. 10 But it was to us that God revealed these things by His Spirit. For His Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.”
This scripture is so encouraging and it’s a promise we, as women of destiny, need to stand on. You need to know that God has destined you for great things, things that you probably cannot begin to imagine or even think would ever be possible, but it’s true and its available for you to walk in.
You may or may not know what the fullness of God’s plan and purpose for your life is. If you do know, that’s awesome, continue to pursue it and walk in it, but if you don’t know the fullness of His destiny for your life, that’s ok, as you continue to surrender your will to Him, trust in Him and wait on Him, He will reveal your destiny to you.
The ‘things’ referred to in the scripture are the things that eye has not seen, the things that God has revealed to you by His Spirit and because they are revealed by the Spirit it is often something that is not understood or received well by others.
Sometimes what happens is we get a glimpse of God’s vision and destiny for our lives and its so big and so exciting that we prematurely share it with others, but because they don’t have the same spiritual understanding they don’t receive it well and then it is seen as ‘foolish’ in their eyes and they tend to speak negatively over it. This is when discouragement sets in and we begin to doubt whether it really was God’s vision or maybe just our own ‘silly self’ and we question if we even heard Him correctly. Our rational mind takes over and it causes us to put it aside and not pursue it at all.
There are so many gifted and anointed women in the Body of Christ that are not walking in their God given purpose and calling because someone along their path squashed their dream or vision and they let it go.
If this has happened to you, I encourage you to pick it up again. Do not allow what people cannot see to influence what you can see.
The things you can see are the things that God has revealed to you by His Spirit. They are His secrets for your destiny and no one can take that from you.
What are the things God has revealed to you for your destiny? What deep secrets has He shared with you? What is the vision He has given you for your family, your marriage, your children, your job or your ministry? Are you walking in it? If not, I encourage you to go back to God and allow Him to minister to you and restore your dreams.
Get back in line with His will and become expectant, for the plans He has for you are overwhelmingly good because He loves you deeply and unconditionally, and His desire is to see you walk in the fullness of what He has prepared for you.
We serve an almighty God, a God of destiny and because of Him you are a women of destiny, destined for great things.
